Scrap Shack
We have been avid scrapbookers for over 9 years. In the last several years, we both had the desire to own our own scrapbook store. This plan finally came to be when Wendy desired a career change and was available to manage and operate the store daily while Kelley held her full time job.
With both of us living in Mooresville, the area was a natural fit for us and we recognized a strong need for a store in the Lake Norman area. Our desire was to service the I-77 corridor from Charlotte to Statesville and the Hickory area as well. After extensive research and lots of hard work, we opened our doors September 28, 2004.
The response has been overwhelming and far greater than we anticipated. It’s so refreshing to hear folks in our store brag about the paper selection, the latest products from the hottest vendors and so much more.
Our goal is to operate a unique store that offers an experience rather than just a place to shop. We surveyed other scrapbookers and turned to our own experiences as well as we laid out the look and feel to our store. In addition to offering a fantastic selection of scrapbooking supplies, shopping carts, a bright, and cheery atmosphere and much more. We took on a tropical theme, hence our name “Scrap Shack”.
We are excited to operate a store that customers will visit often and choose as their destination when buying scrapbooking supplies. We are open to suggestions and criticism too so we can be the best we can for our customers.
