At the Author Squad Bookshop and Publishing Center, children can work with their friends and family to create their own books. In our retail bookshop, we offer a wide selection of books, games, and educational toys. In our publishing center, writers and artists of all ages can come in to write, illustrate, and bind their very own colorful, hardcover books. Author Squad is also a great place to host parties, and special events.
Author Squad members, can attend art and writing classes, as well as a variety of workshops, where they will experience cooperative learning and challenging curriculum. Author Squad was founded by a former elementary school teacher who realized that there was less and less time during the school day that could be devoted to cooperative learning, and fostering creativity. Students need a place where they can work at their own pace and have fun working together to create original products. Author Squad provides opportunities for children to express their creativity, enrich their education, and socialize with their peers in a positive environment. |
